Saturday the 28th August, our women travelled to Waterloo and came up against a very strong home side which defeated them in the NRU W Finals. Unfortunate but their season has to be a huge success and we anticipate bigger and better things next year, congratulations to all who have represented Niagara Wasps Women's rugby this season.
After the long trip to Sarnia our men's second team had none of the fire we have seen in the previous two weeks going down 24-0 to a good side but a side we expected to beat, unfortunate that we were somewhat depleted by absentee players and players moving up to the first team. The league is now out of reach but we are still a reasonably comfortable second with two games to go, lets get back to winning ways guys.
Our first team played well and displayed the kind of patience and control we have to have going forward. Everyone managed to raise their game and that was great to see. Two games left and we want to win them both in style, the league is that bit closer for us now but still rugby to play, and then we have whatever the post season has to offer.
