Junior Boys
The Niagara Wasps junior boys team is looking forward to another sucessful campaign this year. The team looks forward to many of the same players returning from last year's young team that narrowly lost in the their championship game. If you were Under 18 on Jan 1, 2008; you are elegible to play junior boys rugby. The typical junior boys season starts at the conclusion of the high school season in late May. Most of the games are played on Wednesday nights from late June through late August. Practices are held at the Niagara Rugby clup on Tuesdays & Thursday nights at 6:30pm.

Recent Rugby Canada National Championship Tournaments results:
UNDER 20 - gold medals in 2003, 2004 and 2005 ( no tournament in 2006 or 2007 )
UNDER 18 - gold medals in 2003 and 2004, silver medals in 2005, 2006 and 2007
UNDER 16 - gold medal in 2005 and silver medals in 2003

Regional tryouts for Ontario U18, U17, U16, U15 and U14 teams
Date - Sunday June 15th 2008
•· registrations start at 9:15 am
•· the tryout will be from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm
•· fee $25.00
•· players will get a Rugby Ontario t shirt
- players must wear their school rugby jerseys and use mouth guards while on the field
- players who have previously played for Ontario are requested to not wear Ontario jerseys, shorts or socks
- each player must bring his own water bottle and Canada Health Card information
